We Grow
High-quality
Fresh Produce
in Your Region

  1. We do not use synthetic pesticides.

  2. We use an accurate amount of fertilisers.

  3. Our farm uses between 70 and 80 percent less water compared to traditional farms. Instead, we reuse the water as part of our irrigation process, which is far more efficient and sustainable.

  4. Through minimal resources, we strive to optimise our yield.

  5. In a world where technology is constantly evolving, we strongly believe in the use of appropriate equipment and attention-to-detail to achieve the right results, tailored to each plant’s needs.

Hydrogro Vegetables
10,000 square feet of tomato greenhouse in Fanling

Hong Kong's first Dutch-style tomato-growing greenhouse uses hydroponic technology to grow a variety of produce such as lettuce and tomatoes. We meticulously select high-quality seeds from abroad, cultivate them in full sunlight, which do not contain chemical pesticides, and balance the environment and plant growth data in order to produce tomatoes that are not only sweet and delicious, but also rich in flavour. In the future, we will try to cultivate different types of fruits and vegetables to further supply the local market.

Hydrogro Experience Center

In 2016, Hydrogro’s Founder Derek Lin received invitations from many schools to share his knowledge on modern agriculture. Looking back, he strongly believes that the students were very interested in planting but due to space and time, they were unable to experience the entire planting process.

Therefore, based on past experience, we improved the hydroponic equipment on the farm and designed a planting system suitable for on-campus planting where many people can participate at the same time.

Meanwhile, Lin also compiled some interesting agricultural knowledge and compiled a set of hydroponic experience courses. He hopes that this will promote modern agricultural technology, spark students' interests in agriculture, and help more people join Hong Kong's local agricultural scene in the future.

Flowering Edible Garden
60,000 square feet of farm in Fanling

Flowering Edible Garden use fully immersed in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) and hydroponic planting technology to provide a precise amount of water and nutrients based on plant data during their growth cycle.

Through this data collection, we can thoroughly understand what is the best growing conditions for the plants, such as correct temperature and water strategy. By doing so, this allows us to provide high-quality and fresh edible flowers which are free of synthetic pesticides.

Through many years of working with chefs, we have developed a deep understanding of each of their needs. We provide a diverse range of flower varieties and achieve a stable supply throughout the year. Ultimately, we strive to make it more easily accessible for the public to purchase fresh local ingredients.
